New Brooklyn - Pick ups
This week we will be re-uniting some of the cast and crew to pick up four new shots.
Based on the last round of screenings there has been demands for more scenes with Matt Cavenaugh and Frank Harts and I couldn't agree more.
Once we have the new scenes they replace the slug on the timeline and we will have the definitive cut.
I am extremely pleased with the last cut of New Brooklyn and I can't wait to bring it to a first time audience.
Please stay tuned for information on a private screening for everyone involved and a few members from the industry.

Cannes '08: Congrats to Rodrigo and Frank
"New Brooklyn's" Casting Director, Rodrigo Bellott attended the premiere of Steven Soderbergh's "Che" at the Cannes film festival last night.
Rodrigo was "Che's" Casting Director and Post-Production Talent Coach. He has spend the last two year working intimately with Soderbergh and DelToro. He was extremely excited to be in Cannes for the world premiere.
"New Brooklyn's", Frank Harts (Eddie), has a featured role in "Che". Frank has also had two other big developments; Spike Lee's "Miracle At St. Anna" was featured in a Cannes panel and "Gigantic" has received a distribution deal. Frank has featured roles in both films.

Post Production
We have reached the final phase of the film, the big clean up. Today we lock the picture, which means that we can make no additional edits. Now we begin to enhance the soundtrack. This includes ADR (additional dialog recording), foley, wild ambient sound, walla and of course, the score.
We have assembled an incredible team for sound post production. The tracks will be mixed at Beat Street (beatstreetnyc.com) by Matt Longoria. Our ADR will be recorded at the famous Sound One (soundone.com) studios by the amazing David Boulton. The score is being composed by Kyle Bobby Dunn (myspace.com/kbdunn).
We hope to have a final mix by the end of the month, in time for our Locarno and Toronto film festival deadlines.
Chilean Press
New Brooklyn received a great story in the Chilean magazine, Revista Cosas (link: www.cosas.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2351&Itemid=204). They covered our two wonderful Chilean actors, Blanca Lewin and Pablo Cerda. We were honored to have them onset and we are greatful for the nice article.
